Light artists Dorothy and Mel Tanner originated this highly-acclaimed multisensory experience in 1969, and it continues to evolve.  The essence of Lumonics is in its ability to inspire creativity and elicit a profound sense of wonder.

Lumonics greatly appreciates receiving a grant from The Denver Theatre District Microgrant Program. We will be using the funds to present free field trips to Title 1 Schools.

 

Limited Editions

We have selected Dorothy Tanner’s Merlin’s Wand as a limited edition for the Lumonics Legacy Project.

 

Our latest edition of the book Lumonics: The Light Art of Dorothy & Mel Tanner is now available. It chronicles the Tanners’ art journey and the evolution of their art form, Lumonics, as “told” through more than 120 photographs.

Dorothy Tanner received the Denver Mayor’s Award for Innovation in the Arts when she was 95, 2 years before she passed.
